Nine Months (1995; Hugh Grant, Julianne Moore) PG-13 – Slapstick comedy with some crude and mature content, but incredibly beautiful portrayal of the gift and humanity of a baby. Parental previewing recommended (we have watched this with the older teens).
Prince of Egypt (1998; Dreamworks) PG – Incredible animated story of Moses and the Exodus. Poignantly pro-Life.
Schindler’s List (1993; Liam Neeson, Ralph Fiennes) R – The intense and heart-breaking true story of the German businessman who saved over 100 Jews from the Holocaust. Disturbing and graphic in some places – not for the family or the faint of heart.
The 101 Dalmatians by Dodie Smith (The audio book narrated by Martin Jarvis is excellent.)
The Blind Side (2009; Sandra Bullock) PG-13
The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society by Annie Barrows and Mary Ann Shaffer
